Opening new window always put it on the left top side of screen

Please help, when I open a new terminal or other window in CentOS, Gnome It always put it on the top left side and I can't move it without clicking right mouse on the bottom panel bar and selecting move.

I would just have it centered or something so I can easely move the window without having the right click on the bottom panel bar.

I have looked in gconf-editor under metacity but can't find it.
