uh oh now it is lagging miserably for no reason. gaaah.. any suggestions, I haven't changed any system settings yet.. so what could it be?

Unhappy Sorry gotta wait

smart guy has used fedora, i stayed away. He's on gentoo now. I've only done Xorg conf in slackware. Sorry. You should try slackware. You learn linux, and as long as you have the time its fun!!!! And we could help you through it !!! Because I use it. Fedora is a little bloated like Windows and RPMs make you go through "dependency hell". Slack is fast. I have similar video card and run Jedi Knight II and Jedi Academy flawlessly online. It's the distro i'd be willing to step-by-step guide you through. Anywho, switch some other day. We've got probs to fix. He should be awake some time. Best of wishes with your video. I'll be back.

I think i fixed it, I had to remove load "dri" line

Not really fixed, fixed choppiness in HL1, but still not CSS. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should do?
