Opengl in xscreensaver not being recognized

I'm running xscreensaver 4.14, on 4.07 I had hardware accelleration, for some reason xscreen isn't being accelerated by my NVIDIA Geforce Card. I have Mesa 6.0, NVIDIA 5380 kernel driver, and xfree86 4.3.99. I have everything installed as for the requirements of xscreensaver but my problem at the terminal screen reads:

files / video: 24 bit TrueColor (BE: rgb) / audio: none
v4l2: open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l2: open /dev/video0: No such device
v4l: open /dev/video0: No such device
no grabber device available
xscreensaver-getimage: file does not exist: "/tmp/xssgv.26984.ppm"

I have no Idea what this means but apparently I think that a couple screen savers still won't function....but I'm not sure if it explains the failure to render the other screens properly.

I haven't rebuilt xscreen and updated yet because the software won't compile since Mesa 6.0 I recieve the following error:

.....fr.po:3085: ...this is the location of the first definition
/usr/bin/msgfmt: found 17 fatal errors
make[1]: [fr.gmo] Error 1 (ignored)
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/nathan/xscreensaver-4.14/po'

Hardware Acceleration still functions on the system for Tux Racer and the Mesa test programs, but my screens still won't function at a comparable quality to that of xscreensaver 4.14. I've tried the RPMS, I've done the source, I've looked on the web for NVIDIA specific acceleration HOW-TOS and still have come up with anything. I haven't really had any problems on the system since 4.07 but 4.14 is not being accelerated; any ideas?
