Open source tool to install a software at a time in many systems

Hi all...

I am looking for an open source tool, which can install a software or update patches in many Linux/Windoz machines simultaneously...Is there any such tool...

Thanks in advance....

Are you talking about spacewalk or something?
Something like THIS?

Thanks Chaitanya,

Yes, I am trying to find a software like spacewalk. But spacewalk is limited to Redhat based distros. Not for Debian based distros and windowz..

Like we cannot install a software simultaneously on many windoz machies/Debian based machines...Any other tool you kno ?

I have not seen or heard any tool for this purpose of yours as yet. May be someone with more experience will come and talk back but it looks not so easy task as different distributions use different packaging and windows is even different for its proprietary systems.
