First, you need to read the LQ Rules, and the "Question Guidelines" and "How to ask a smart question" links in my posting signature. We are not going to look up and re-type a how-to guide for you. We are happy to help with specific questions, but if you need a how-to guide, your first step needs to be reading the instructions that come WITH that software.

Secondly, Zulip is not free or open-source; it is commercial, if you looked at their website. If you're paying, call them. If you're using their free web-based chat, there is nothing TO 'install and configure'. Sign in and use it. If you're talking about what is released on github, there are (again) instructions on their page; read them. Otherwise, there are several other chat servers for Linux, openfire being a good one. Again, you can put "linux based open source chat servers" into Google and find many.

Openfire is typically what you first will run into for a self-hosted server.
however I'd suggest Prosody since it has some very light-weight dependences (lua-based)
https://prosody.im/

The general suggestions are
  • Gajim (Desktop Client)
  • Conversations (Android)
  • ChatSecure (IOS)

agouba, nobody is getting paid to provide support, here on LQ.
LQ is not a help desk for a product you purchased.
Demanding a step-by-step is the wrong way.

you need to
  • ask politely
  • provide deatils about your current situation
  • generally show us that you are willing to do your part in solving the problem - preferably by showing us what you already tried to tackle the problem
