Open shell script in color

I have Ubuntu 8.04 installed on my PC. I use Vi editor to open shell scripts. When I open shell script on Red Hat Linux it opens in nice colors default. But when I tried to open same script on ubuntu it opens up only in one color. What do I need to do to have it open nicely in colors.

I use Bash.

Thanks in advance.

This is probably what you want:

Turn on or off color syntax highlighting in vi or vim

Remove the vim-tiny package and install the vim-full package.
