Wow, it's been a joy ride, this week. Got me a 3d accelerator (Nvidia 6200 - granted, not new but I'm strapped here) and when installing the driver, everything works smoother than before, the card has a cool 47 centigrade (is that cool, is that hot???) Okay, the only thing that goes
ickedee is Java...I play around with some 3D programming (in Java, yes I know) and open GL (the main 3D accelerator force, I guess) doesn't come online. My benchmark? If you can call it that, is Runescape (I know I know, not a benchmark as such...) and cannot get the thing into Open GL. Before I proceed, that should be a fact...
What do I read up? How do I get RS (and all of the rest) to use open GL and hence use the 3D accelerator (though, the two may not even be related
of course)
