MySQL usage is quite simple in setup and maintenance it did tend to get corrupted quite easily with high transaction volumes.
Any Alternative (so far i heard of PostgreSQL) for the same? |
Not sure why yours got corrupted, but I have one at the office that has had over 10 billion requests since February, with zero downtime, and it's running fine. Hasn't had problems at all.....
FWIW, I think that MySQL is a bit more robust that Postgres, though.. |
