open box run dialog

Recently my openbox has been acting a little odd.
normally, pressing alt+F2 brings up a run dialog. However, in the past month or so, it comes up at random. Sometimes when I'm typing, other times when I'm not touching the screen. I know I could just uninstall it. but I do occasionally use it. Has anyone else ever run in to this very annoying problem?

I have not heard of this problem, but one thing you might try is to change the key combination that opens the dialog and see if it still happens, or just add another key to the combination, i.e. ALT+SHIFT+F2.

Also, after the application is launched, you may want to use something like pstree to see what the parent process is.
