Online Update Failure of 3 programs

Greetings Everyone,

I ran Online Update for my newly installed SUSE Linux 10 today and three of the programs would not download.- although 99% of one of them did.

The three programs are:

1. free office suite ( the language independent part )
2. filmware for ACX 111 wlan cards
3. microsoft (r) true type core fonts - ( 99 % of this downloaded )

Has anyone else had this type of problem?

Is there a way to fix it?

Thank You!

Rerun the update and leave it until it completes. The packages you listed are always slow to upgrade on my system and its as if the system has hung, but the upgrade completes later.

The Open Office download never starts. 0% is all that ever shows on my screen no matter how long I leave it hooked up.

If thats causing the problem then try omitting OOo from the updates and then download it manually from a Suse mirror.

Hi Reddazz,

For reasons unknown to me I was able to download the Open Office language update today using a Gnome desktop instead of KDE.
