Old RH5.2 user coming back with RH9.0 with many problems
Well... I hate diskettes, during install i had to put "linux nousb" due to usb hanging on a compaq laptop. Install worked fine.
The issue here is that I forgot to put the "nousb" on the option for passing params to the kernel (should be there, right?) and it continues to hang at usb recognition. Diskette booting is ok, but I developed a diskette-phobia using my laptop, you know... Fact is that i don't know how to access this option AFTER installation for automatic booting, passings option to kernel, without tipping the whole thing again and again. Is this a LILO issue? tried to man lilo and lilo.conf, but changing "append=..." line was not clear.
By the way, when in the terminal and man on some help file, i don't recall how to quit man program without closing the terminal, NOT EVEN "man man" helped here... weird!
