old domain with new ip, centos 5.7

Hello, i changed my webserver. I have still my old domain but i have a new ip, and yep this is the problem.

how do i make it happen that i can use my old dommain on my new server.

is there an update thingy, a gui etc or a way doing this via webmin(by not using virtualmin)?

best regards,
eckhard

First you have to change your domain DNS servers within your DNS registrar's control panel.
Let's suppose you have your domain IP 1.2.3.4 changed to 4.3.2.1

Now you need to tell the DNS is at 4.3.2.1, so for better understanding take a look at example registrar management system

THEN you change your server BIND configuration zone to point your www, mail, ftp... etc. to the IP you really have these services (or it can be the same )
