Okay, Ubuntu 8.1 is up and running...

It seems I got my boot sequence and all spot on in the first attempt, allows me to boot to either OS with no problem so far. I am having trouble getting my internet to work in 8.1. I followed along in the "help" section to no avail. When I run [ sudo lshw -C network ] mine says disabled (umong other things). It shows the wireless card albeit with a different brand name but I see the 802.11g and its the only card installed so that's got to be it. It seems to act like its not "turned on" or no driver is present. The CD that came with the card don't work in Ubuntu (tried it! it recognizes it but can't use it. What now???
