OH CRAP!!! (/me needs help)


ok....i just installed linux fedora core 3. and it looks awesome. cept for one thing....

its not duel booting...its just going straight to linux and this is my first time ever using it.

not only that, but i dont know my password for AIM cause i have it set to auto log in and its been there for like 2 years. that means i cant talk to my linux guru dude who has helped me through all of this.

please, can someone help me!!!

EDIT:and my sound card isnt working at all on linux. no music at all.

Ok. What do you mean not Dual Booting? Fedora is default to be loaded unless you choose xp. Usually, it hides the menu and says "Fedora Loading in 5 Seconds..." or something like that. When you see that, press the up arrow (or any key) and it should show the menu. You can choose XP from there, hopefully. If not, we can add it to your menu.lst file. Oh, and I am not a "Guru", not yet anyway I just help you in what I can.

As for AIM password, can you go to AIM.com and forgot password and they email it to you? You could also get a new screen name in the mean time until you remember your password or get it emailed to you.

after some work, im back in windows till i get my aim password all figured out.

also there is something freaky going on with my partitions.

ill hop back in linux as soon as i got those figured out.(it was SO much faster)
