obtaining debian dvd iso with mac os x

I would like to install linux on my powerbook. I have experimented a bit with linux (redhat) and programming (java) and want to put myself back into that sort of environment. Having done a little research I have decided to go with Debian. It would be ideal for me to have a dvd iso file I could use for the install. However jigdo, which does not seem to be available for os x, seems to be the only method. Any solutions?

Any last minute suggestions?

Thanks.

I assume you want the new sarge installer dvd iso.

isn't the program jigdo required for that link you provided me with? am i able to use jigdo on os x?

*Separate issue*: Does redhat support powerpc?

You'll have to install it using Fink.
