O Mandriva One 2009 how does one set up a HP DeskJet 6940 Network printer?

Just installed a Mandriva One 2009. What package do I install and run to configurre a connection to a HP DeskJet printer on a network (LAN)?

hp-setup does not find the printer, even though I can ping to it.

Since this is a network printer, the standard CUPS setup should be fine. Do you have the gnome or KDE flavour?

Thanks for the response. I have a KDE environment and the regular hp-setup would not run because the "su/sudo" utility was not found. ???!!!! dumb thing!

I did finally download the HP-Printing package from LQ and after some arduous work got the Make to succeed. My previous (years ago) UNIX experience came in handy, and I was able to run a command from the KDE GUI to execute the hp-setup as root. I had to provide the printer IP address when it could not find it, and it installed OK.
