Suse 9.2 didnt directly install the opengl for my nvidia card

they said i should do an update and well I did,

this is installed

xorg-x11-server-glx - GLX extension and nvidia dummy driver modules


This is the GLX extension and the nvidia dummy driver modules for the Xserver.

but the 3D game from Linux still doesn't work, says i got no 3D card.

please help me out

your gonna have to post more info than that:

1). are you using nvidia's drivers from their website

2). do you have the glx module loaded in you X config file:

3). what is the output of glxinfo?

4). open up you /etc/X11/xorg.conf (or may be named XF86Config-4 if Suse is still using xfree)

and go down about 3/4 of the way and tell us what driver is currently in use ( under the section "Driver" "???")
