numpy installation on fedora 18
Hi,
I have tried to install numpy on fedora 18 with the following command: sudo yum install numpy scipy But, during the installation of the package that needed numpy, I encountered this error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/bin/nanocut", line 3, in <module> import numpy as np ImportError: No module named 'numpy' How could I get numpy installed correctly? |
? This nanocut ? https://bitbucket.org/aradi/nanocut
git clone https://bitbucket.org/aradi/nanocut.git http://aradi.bitbucket.org/nanocut/ http://aradi.bitbucket.org/nanocut/installation.html Fedora 18 : # yum install python3 python3-numpy cd nanocut/ ; su ; # python3 setup.py install - |

I guess you will have to delete the alien file '/usr/local/bin/nanocut', etc. There is no uninstall for python apps installed with "setup.py". By default, nanocut will install to /usr/bin/nanocut → → May be run $ /usr/bin/nanocut ... to be sure you are using the right one. - |
