Numeric keypad arrow keys

Hi,

I got this little thing that really annoys me:

I am using Redhat ES3, and some gui programs i use would not identify the numeric keypad arrow keys, only the arrows in the 'other' set on the left of it. Sometimes they would work, but when trying to select (using shift) - that won't work. Is there any way to fix this? if they are sending different key codes is there a way to map them so they send the same key codes?

Cheers.

Maybe those programs will only let the num-keys work if Num-lock is on. The thing is that it's usually not on by default on Linux. Here's something to fix that:Click here

I hope that helps

Hi Achmed,
Thanks for the swift reply..
Unfortunately, the numlock does work, but they are supposed to work without it. If i turn it on I get numbers, but I want arrows!
