Unhappy ntpstat unsynchronised

Hi All,

Can someone help me, currently having issue with NTP. I'm just new
in setting up NTP for Request Tracker. I'm using CentOS 6.4.

+++
# ntpstat
unsynchronised
time server re-starting
polling server every 8 s
+++

I've restarted the ntpd and added the following in conf:
synchronized to 1.1.1.1, stratum 11
server ntp.server.com

Thank you

Can you make sure that the machine could reach any of the time peers defined in your ntp.conf file ?

# ntpq -c peers or ntpq -p

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

Not much information to go on.

It would help if you posted your ntp.conf

It might help if you selected pool servers close to your country of origin. http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/
