NTP problem
Folks;
I hope someone can help with this. I'm trying to point a Linux server to a NTP server that uses GPS but I'm getting errors on the Linux server and i see that the Linux server is not synced to the wrong server not to the NTP server. Below is the output of ntpq -p. (The * should be next to the SyncServer not to the other one) remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter ============================================================================== SyncServer .INIT. 16 u - 16 0 0.000 0.000 4000.00 *128.251.14.1 .GPS. 1 u - 64 3 22.849 -1.501 1.215 129.7.1.66 .INIT. 16 u - 16 0 0.000 0.000 4000.00 +18.145.0.30 .PSC. 1 u 4 16 1 38.932 -3.881 1.225 -130.207.244.240 .GPS. 1 u 1 16 1 43.596 -9.190 1.077 |
well as it's listed as a strata 16 server it's just not reachable for some reason, either on the network, or not providing valid responses.
and if you could just delete some of those ='s or put the text in a [ code ] box that'd be awesome. |
