Try these Linux distro Choosers:,

also try this link to give you a hand, select your criteria and then hit search:

Uses KDE desktop, one CD install works both as a live and Install CD. Be wary it is a bit bloated.

This is what PCLinuxOS is based on it is a BIG distrobution with all you will ever need

PCLinuxOS .92

This is the distro I use and recommend, Why because it works right out of the box. No need to configure Everything, everything just works. It also comes as a 1 CD install that is a live CD that you can install later if you wish.

This Distro is small fast and effective, the ultimite Workers CD

is A one CD install of Fedora Core

hope this helps,

Thumbs up Good luck

I use Ubuntu and I like it. I've tried others as well. It's a choice only you can make.

Glad to have you on board, spliffy. I'm a Fedora 10 user, and I'd recommend that or Ubuntu. I hope English is a second language for you, because your abuse of it is simply unacceptable otherwise. I know I'm going to come off as a grammar Nazi here, but just please make some effort. Thank you for you consideration.

Come on Guys!! Where's the Debian love. It looks like we have Ubuntu covered but don't forget Lenny.

All kidding aside, like others have said, try several, and use what feels right to you.

codec, desktop, fedora, linux
