Angry Notebook wont boot Mandrake after instalation!

Hi

I’m trying to convert to Linux. I have mandrake 10 up and running on my desktop pc. Now after installing mandrake on my laptop witch as a “Powered by Suse Linux” sticker on is so it must have worked with Linux before, though I only used XP on it, wont bood up.

After a second complete install (thought that there might have been an error during installation) and reboot the system wont boot, it just reads the stiffy drive and asks that I should insert a boot disk.

Can anybody help me?

Did you install a bootloader such as GRUB or LILO on the hard drive or a floppy?
