installed open suse and now i cant open installed apps or open games bigger issuse that i cant play netflix or hulu mian things i wanna fix is steam and huluplus/netflix
error that i remeber is : error with PIM /whatever that is
error stopping packagekit/ive tried the deleting van helden thing
error with codecs /when trying to use multimedia apps to play movies

whatever is is in my laptop is stopping me from using anything cause half the apps wont open

laptop info is : dell insoiron i9intel / 32gbram /4tb HDD /OS opensuse kde
my pc is lighting fast but when this started it freezes for a few seconds or longer at times
please someone help

Please have a look here to understand how to phrase a question better. Your post shows your frustration, but nothing much. You say you can't play games, open apps, use packagekit or play media files, but you have not told us an application name (apart from steam & packagekit), your OS version or what you have done to fix your issues.


1. Did you try OpenSuse 15 in live mode before installing ?
2. Did you try to open netflix/hulu with a different browser ? (they work in Chrome for me)
3. Did you follow this to get multimedia codecs ?

Could you also, provide the model number of your laptop so that we may look up specs. Also what is this "van helden thing" ?
