Not installing Redhat Linux Ver4 on Compaq EVO laptop (old). Display the error, when booting with Linux OS CDROM. Any help appreciated. The laptop have 2GB of RAM. 40GB of Harddrive.

That's an ancient distribution of Linux. Despite the age of your laptop, you would be much better off with a modern distribution.

Any chance you meant RedHat Enterprise (RHEL)? Even so, version 4 is still old.
