not being able to open any website through "KPPP"

Hello everyone,
i just switched over to linux from windows XP.
Through "KPPP" i managed to connect to internet properly.
...
But whenever i tries to open any website through the default browser
it gives a message that it can't find any "xyz" website.
.....
After connecting to the internet i tried the command "route -n" on the
terminal......its showing 4 entries....
ppp0
eth0
eth0
lo.

now i can't understand where the problem is...
please help me.

hey

when u connect to the internet,and are not able to browse

post the full contents of ur /etc/resolv.conf

and O/P of

route -n
