Not able to start GUI mode


Hello,

I am using Mandriva linux 2008.0
There is problem with my x-server

Error : /usr/bin/xauth: error while loading shared libraries: libXdmcp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I am not able to see GUI

Please help to sort out this issue

1) su
2) urpmi.update -a
3) urpmi libxdmcp6
.. will install the missing library.

But this is odd, unless you said no to all graphical
( no Desktop ( Gnome or KDE)), it should already be
present.
