Not able to go into linux OS!

Hi

I had windows 98 and Red Hat linux 7.2 on my hard disk. Whenever the system boots, I used to get the GRUB boot loader where I could select either DOS or linux.

Because of problems in the windows partition, I had to format the windows partition and installed win XP.

I do not get the GRUB loader now. The system automatically boots into WinXP. I had already created a linux boot disk but it is not working now. I do not know how to get into linux. I have Red HAT Linux 7.2 CDs with me.

Please helppp.

boot from redhat CD 1 and enter the rescue mode by typing 'linux rescue' at prompt.once you enter it,type 'chroot /mnt/sysimage' .and then
'grub-install <INSTALL_DEVICE>'.INSTALL_DEVICE must be /dev/hda
