Question noob ask about windows games

Hi!
I`m Michael i`ve just bought my new hp notebook with linux. i had some experience with fedora, red hat, but not really much. I`m trying to install and obviously play the Life For Speed S2 game on my SuSe Novell linux and i can`t get it. What do i have to install/write a command (BTW how to get back from the linux text command [ctrl+alt+f1...f12] to GNU desktop?) to play for this game?
i`ve found sth like "wine" but i requires ??flex??, than i`ve found flexbuilder_linux_install_a4_081408, but it needs to be runned on root so that i tried to run it on root and it doesn`t work may i`ve written an wrong command...
Is there a somebody who can help me? I would be really pleased (sorry for my english - i`m not native)

ctrl+alt+F7 will get you back to X, the graphical environment used for many apps like games on most systems. If it isn't that then it's F8 or F9.

To play windows games on linux machines, usually you need to install wine. To do this with SuSe, you use their software install system called Yast. To do this, select yast in the system menu. Here you can search for all sorts of software you may want to install. When you choose to install wine from this menu the OS will automatically download any other software, like flex, that wine may require to run. Then look around on winehq.org for specifics on how to install and run the specific game you wish to run.

Hope this helps.
