Unhappy None of my games will start, no error messages.

None of my games will open, wine or native. Opening them in the terminal gives no error message, they just start for a second and freeze. I feel it has something to do with Xorg or Xserver because at one point I noticed I had no xorg.conf and I deleted some back up xorg.conf's and that actually fixed the problem until I had to restart my computer at one point and the problem came back (I still have no xorg.conf or backups).

OS: Fedora 10
Games: Urban Terror, Teeworlds, WoW, Zsnes, Project 64, Pingus
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo
Gfx: ATI Radeon x300 using open source drivers

Can anyone get me pointed in the right direction with this?

Do these games all require 3D acceleration? Does your card/driver support 3D? Can you run glxgears? Does
glxinfo | grep rendering
respond with direct rendering: Yes? You may have to use the Radeon proprietary drivers to play this game.
