noaa radar loop java
hello. I have checked the edit-preferences-advanced-enable java box. I have installed, restarted, deleted java, tried again. Still the radar on noaa will not loop and says I need to install java. I am using seamonkey, and puppylinux 4.3.1. I read one page that said I may not need to install java. Any suggestions?

Go here and see if puppy won't work:

Works fine. Thanks. Tho it's not that I miss the live radar, it is that I cannot make the noaa site work. That gives me a puzzle/problem that begs me to find a solution. :)

Besides installing Java, enabling the checkbox in the browser (firefox?), you probably also need to install the java plugin.
Have a look at the install instructions on Sun's web site (assuming you're using Sun Java) for more details: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp Check if your browser supports Java by going to: http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp |
