I have read somewhere that the WiFi on YDL for PS3 won't work along with the bluetooth controllers.....I also read that the Ubuntu 7.10 has all of those working after some configuration.....I wanted to install YDL but since I got ubuntu with ease I think I will keep it and upgrade. With YDL you will have to use a wired connection

I have installed YDL 5.0 on my PS3 and everything worked fine including internet etc... Later I formatted the PS3 and reinstalled YDL and now have the same problem you all describe with this Galic driver. I watched during the install and it is loading the driver initially at install but not upon reboot. I am reinstalling now and trying to see if it is an install glitch or what. The fact that I had it all running well makes it even more frustrating now. Same PS3, same install disc, so go figure.


I'll update this if and when I resolve the issue. I have two PS3's, one in the living room, one in den, both have same issue. I am also conversing with Aaron at YDL on the issue. He suggested I update my Kernel with a new Beta Kernel they have but that made no difference.
