No Sound on msn and gaim
 
i dont get any sound when i get a messege on amsn and gaim....how can i make that work ??

- First of all what are you sound settings for Gaim...
- What drivers do you use (OSS, ALSA, ...)
- What Window manager (Gnome, KDE)

my driver is ALSA and desktop is kde

In Gaim, try going to tools...preferences...sounds...and changing method to ESD.

...or since you use KDE choose Arts.
