No sound on A7N8X delux - mandrake 10
 

I've just installed my first Linux Distro and I am unable to configure the sound.
Very unsure as to what I am ment to do and which drivers I am ment to use.
Asus A7N8X delux m'board, nvidia ac'97 sound drivers I think, could some one please help me or direct me to a step by step website for linux newbies, so I can get this problem solved.

what is the output of

/sbin/lspci -v

i'm not sure if the audio drivers are part of the package. it's called an all in one driver, maybe the audio will be there.
