No sound in Amarok
 

SUSE 10 KDE 3.5 Amarok 1.3.7

After upgrading to KDE 3.5, I seem to have lost sound in Amarok. Checked all volume settings in KDE and in Amarok, all are NOT muted. Engine I have chosen is Xine Engine (it is recognized). Any idea how to resolve this issue?
It worked with previous KDE 3.4 that came with the SUSE 10 DVD.

I should say, that live streaming palying but no sound.

Hang on, do local music files play, but streaming radio does not?

If neither play, try changing back to Arts (in configuration, engine), as the KDE upgrade might fix problems you had with Arts before.

If you open Yast's program manager (been a while since using Yast, so bear with me) do a search for Arts, and install anything that includes Amarok in the name or description.

No luck. ARTS is installed. Configure engine is on Xine, and Output plugin is on Autodetect. Whne I chnage ot ARTS, Amarok crashes. Local media no play either (no sound at least).
