No sound from radio stream; sound ok in youtube etc. How to solve?

I can hear sound in youtube etc.
But I cannot hear anything in a radio stream (it was a time, it was running, but after few upgrades it dont work).
How to solve that issue?
uname -r
= antix 13.2 (Base = Debian Wheezy).
PC: Hewlett-Packard HP Compaq dc7100 USDT(DX877AV)/0980h
Kernel command line: root=/dev/sda2 quiet radeon.modeset=0
Sound card: snd_intel8x0 0000:00:1e.2:
Any idea is welcome: I enjoy to hear radio streaming when I am working at the PC.

The link you posted is to a online player that your radio station uses to play in a browser ("/player on the end of url). In AntiX. I make my own .pls file and use xmms to play it.

Title1=(#1 - 64/300) All Dixie
Notice my url beside the File1= line.
The name I gave it is Dixie_Rock.pls

I guess you are in the podcasts section because I do not read french .

Because I do not read french. I can only give general ideas on what can be tried. Edit: I hear your player link alright in my AntiX 15 install with Iceweasel experimental.

Edit: Broke out my AntiX 13 Touchscreen 9 inch netbook for this thread to check your url. I run Iceweasel 41 experimental in this netbook also.

Your site plays OK. My aboutlugins in my address bar are as follows

OpenH264 Video Codec provided by Cisco Systems, Inc.
DivX Browser Plug-In
QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.9
RealPlayer 9
mplayerplug-in is now gecko-mediaplayer 1.0.9
Java(TM) Plug-in 11.60.2
Shockwave Flash

This is a old long running rolling install of AntiX 13

Try this: Make a text file in your music folder. Name it Chicago_Jazz.pls
There is no need to make it executable.

Open gnome-mplayer and open that new file you just made. Wait for it to load/ buffer. It takes a while to finish. Does it play ok?

Next Use Open location in gnome-mplayer and type in

does it play ok?

If no problems. Maybe a player site setting fault at that french site on your end is causing the no sound while there is all I can think of.

It works fine on my copy of Lubuntu 14.04 using Chrome (Version 43) and Firefox (Version 38.) What browser are you using?

Works for me in debian jessie. You're probably lacking some pulseaudio or gstreamer packages. Or have them unconfigured. The default soundcard is card 0 as hinted to in /proc/asound/cards. Which might not be the card that you are trying to listen on. Most machines have multiple soundcards these days. On the videocard with audio over HDMI. On the webcam in the form of microphone inputs. And the soundcard that outputs to your speakers. And various other possibilities. The default of which is likely not what you're expecting. And is likely muted (default) or not hooked up to speakers.

$ speaker-test -c 2
