i have made full install of linux puppy lucid to my gateway mx3225, but i cant get any sound from my card and has if its not enogh, now i can even see the volume button and i cant find it. i've tried ALSA but nothing, read a couple of threads and thats how i messed with the volume icon and lost it, this is my 4th day getting to know puppy, and i like the size and spped of puppy now if i could only get things installed such as my sound card,(i think) and adobe flash player, and well, if i could only know how o move around this place. by the way, ...how can i get rid of linux mint olivia, im kind of sure i messed the bejevies out of it when i was installing puppy but i think theres a space in there that's allocated and im getting pretty tired but i like how puppy works that im even posting for the very firs time to a linux community, i hope u guys can help thanks

Try ALSA or Pulse audio as suggestions
I have both installed now but I've had previous distros where they conflicted and thus could only have one installed at a time.
