No Sound

Hi,

I'm a relatively new user of linux. I cant seem to be able to configure my sound card....

I have a pentium 4 comp, 128 MB RAM. I'm using dual boot with windows 98(In which sound works fine!).I have red hat 7.3. Kernel 2.4.18.3 on a i686 processor.

When I tried "sndconfig" I got the mmessage:
"PCI CARD FOUND, INTEL CORP | UNKOWN device 8086:24c5"
I also get messages like "cant locate these modules:

sound-service-0-3: 4 Time(s)
sound-service-1-0: 4 Time(s)
char-major-10-134: 2 Time(s)
ppp-compress-21: 2 Time(s)
sound-slot-0: 8 Time(s)
sound-slot-1: 4 Time(s)
ppp0: 1 Time(s)
sound-service-0-0: 4 Time(s) during boot up....HELP!!!

Thanx...Sanoop
