no route to host


when i used to scp like

scp -r username@ip:/filename /home

its giving error like

connection refused

but ping ip

is working fine

i have googled it i got some info

then i have done

systemctl start sshd.service
systemctl enable sshd.service

then i disabled firewall on bith client and server still its not working what might be the problem please provide me some information

scp -r username@ip:/home/filename /home

it's giving error like

NO ROUTE TO HOST

why am getting this error

it means my system not in LAN connection

It's a pretty straight forward message, there is no network connection from your machine to the target machine. Finding exactly where the network is not connected requires a little troubleshooting.
