No repeat/loop option in mplayer?
I installed 9.1 because thats the only one I could get installed on mandrake. I spent an hour trying to get dependencies that just werent happening for the newer versions. Anyway, I started up the GUI and Ive been looking around all the skins for a half hour and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make a movie repeat or loop. There doesnt seem to be an option for it anywhere. This is a basic thing that all video players should have, so Im assuming Im just missing something obvious.

Also, how do I set up Firebird to use Mplayer when I click a link to a movie file? If I go to downloads in firebird preferences, theres a list of files ive downloaded and what to do with them, but it doesnt seem like you can add new ones.

Dunno about the gui - for mplayer, it's 'mplayer -loop N'.
Also don't know about Firebird - in Mozilla, it's edit>preferences>helper applications, and you just add or edit a type. Probably similar but under a different menu w/Firebird. |
Yuu could play the movie in your browser if thats what you want. Handy when you visit a site with embedded movie.
