"no password configured for VNC auth"


I have set up my VNC server at an linux machine and all the clients are windows users.

When the clients connect to the linux vnc server is says "no password configured for VNC auth". I just canīt get it to work.. please help me.

You didn't offer much detail on your install, but perhaps
Code:
 vncpasswd
is what you need.

i found the problem... the display:1 on the ip was missing.. thx anyway

im facing the same problem, could you pls explain with details what u did for that?
