the installation of high availability in redhat linux 6.4 is commercial or it is an open source.

if it is commercial what we need to buy please help me.

We are all volunteers here.

What is urgent for you is not urgent for us.

If you are running RHEL then you should contact Red Hat support.

Contact Red Hat Sales to buy the High Availability Add-On from Red Hat. Its not available free.

In order to install/configure HeartBeat, here are details starting from scratch :

I would say all Redhat offerings are commercial, and are open source. There is no contradiction here.

Philosophical considerations aside, if you want it from Redhat, go to the Redhat site and find the high-availability product. If you want it for free, Centos or Scientific Linux might help; for Centos 5 for example, a howto is available http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Ha-Drbd.
