no menu bars

Spent the past hour trying to figure this out, it's not happening.

I have no menu bars in programs or em, file explorer?

ex: I open playonlinux and at the top.. no file | tools | edit | etc. | etc.

this is on pinguy (ubuntu) btw.

I figured this would be some 2 second answer, just some stupid thing I overlooked...

You should give some more information like:

- since when does the problem exist (system or software installation, reboot, update, ...)?
- what exactly did you do right before the problem started?
- does the problem exist only for one user or for all?
