no lilo
Hi, I installed Mandrake 9.1 last night and got everything but lilo setup. So I a few hours ago I was attempting to make it boot to winxp instead of linux after the timer ran out. So I clicked probe to have it set it up for me and changed "WinXP" to default then rebooted and got the "Start windows normaly, Start windows in safe mode..." etc and no lilo.... Then I popped in the CD and tried to repair the boot manger and it said it did but still no lilo. Now I don't know if there's anyother way of getting into linux or a way to fix lilo somehow....? Thanks

Do you have any bootdisk so you can go back to your Mandrake system? A LiveCD perhaps?
Once you get there you will need to run /sbin/lilo.

If you need to create a Mandrake Linux boot disk under Windows,
take a look at this link.

You can also use Tom's Root Boot, it will allow you to boot any Linux system.
