I told you already, I don't have the original hdd, my old pc's fried and I took its memory. I didn't do nothing to it just stuck it in, took me forever to get internet that time.
Opencrack dosent do encrypted data.
And I`ll give that a try... *gulp*
Thought installing makes me uneasy.
Any alternative besides downloading stuff?
I just don't got the media to do it
And I tried open crack, and if I didn't find Linux cleaning my room I'd be f\_/©€d

The only way to beat decrypted files is wath a linux set up, don't exactly know what I be doing, I can't look at the software because no internet...

Sorry installing makes you uneasy--
Sorry Open Crack didn't work.

I'll ask one of our Guru's to join your thread for additional help and advice-

If anything went wrong the dmseg command would show errors or warnings in the output.

Is Slacko Puppy up and running properly?
(as far as you can tell)

Run these commands and post the output please
Code:
lspci
And than run:
Code:
lsmod

Please put the output of those commands in code tags.
Open the terminal and run the command than copy it, click on the pound sign and paste in between the code tags.

The code tage sign (#) is 5 icons over to the right of the smiley face when you reply to the thread.

Congrads on installing Linux!

What you posted is ok it's just easier to read in code tags.

Now that Slacko Puppy is installed and your internet connection is up and running does the system run ok?

Code:
/dev/sda/ ntfs System Reserved 100.00MG boot
/dev/sda2 ntfs 244.35GB
So I see your Windows partition on /dev/sda 2 ntfs that's 244.GB is that the one your having trouble getting to boot? You still having the password issue? (can't log in)

I'm not sure what you mean by the Oracle VM thing.
I am not good with virtual machine; sorry.

@rigor:

Are you good with Windows 7?

I'll look for the tool for Windows Recovery password.

I haven't used Windows in about 4 years:-
