no graphic interface after installing suse 9.1 on logon only command line opens

i have suse9.1 personal CD i tried installing it every thing went on fine but when i log into my account there is only a command line interface i am not able to see the GUI interface. i am new to linux please give detailed help

my sys config:
128 mb ram
550 mhz intel p3 processor
10 Gb hard disk

Did you try startx?
