no display after install RH 7.3 on dell latitude laptop

I installed red hat 7.3 on my laptop. The first time I customized the install for my Nvidia graphics card and selected the dell laptop video for gforce 2 at 1280x1024 when I restarted I have no display on the screen when kde is supposed to show up. So I reinstalled and took all the default settings for a laptop and I still have no display when the gui kde loads.

Please Help.

Thanks Mike

What type of laptop is it ? Have you checked out for info on getting X to work ? Probably the best resource about running Linux on a laptop.
