No audio after using xmms
 

hi,
I thought of hearing mp3 songs online so i closed the xmms ,but i couldn hear the audio, After restarting the system, everything is normal with online songs. This seems to be peculiar.. will the audio device be fixed for xmms after using it? i couldn understand wat is posing the problem..

can anyone helpme pl..

Have you made sure xmms is not running anymore? If there is an icon in the system tray, then it is still running. Use "File -> Quit" to really quit xmms. Or right-click the icon in the system tray and choose "Quit" or "Close".
Sometimes, audio applications "block" the audio devices for themselves and other applications cannot use it anymore while the first one is running.

Try sndconf in run menu.. In that u can change the settings or goto konsole and type whereis sounddrivers or something... Then u can find its path. If u arent able to find path using konsole goto control center and search for audio drivers in one of the tabs,then configure it.
