Unhappy NIS data base not updating


i have several linux m/c connected to nis solaris server.i have to add user so that he can login from any system.plz tell me

In my world I add the account on the NIS master, cd to /var/yp, and do a /usr/ccs/bin/make.

All steps on the NIS master.
