Smile NIS Config not wrkin


Hey guys , im wrkin on vmware.when i start ypbind on server its nt able 2 listen to nisserver.
MY NIS server's FQDN is server1.example.com
IPADDR=192.168.0.4 example.com=192.168.0.0/24
& also when i : /usr/lib/yp/ypinit -m

after confirming server1.example.com as my nis server, the comand
builds /var/yp/example.com/ypservers & so on but in the end is shows

This i what i cn=onfigured :
/etc/sysconfig/network:
HOSTNAME=server1
NISDOMAIN=example.com

/etc/yp.conf:
domain example.com server 127.0.0.1

/etc/nsswitch.conf:
passwd: files nis
shadow: files nis
group: files nis
bootparams: nisplus [NOTFOUND=return] files
netgroup: nisplus
publickey: nisplus
automaount: files nisplus
aliases: files nisplus


/etc/ypserv.conf:
dns: no
files: 30
slp: no
slp_timeout: 3600
xfr_check_port: yes
* : * : shadow.byname : port
* : * : passwd.adjunct.byname : port

/var/yp/securenets:
host 127.0.0.1
255.255.255.0 192.168.0.0

/var/yp/nicknames:
I didnt add anything new.

nisdomainname shows example.com
im able 2 start all services except ypbind.
make -C /var/yp aslso shows
failed to send 'clear' to local ypserv: RPC: Unknown hostgmake[1]: Leaving directory '/var/yp/example.com'.


I trying (cr8 nis server )this for the first time .
plz help . thnx a lot .
